Teaching is one of my many passions in life, and I come from a long line of teachers. My great-grandmother, grandparents, and my parents were all educators. Teaching truly is in my blood. I have been fortunate to carry out my passion for teaching for over seven years throughout the eastern part of the United States. After receiving my undergrad, I taught at an environment science camp in Massachusetts, and taught fourth grade in North Carolina. When I moved back to the wonderful state of Michigan I taught 6-8 language arts. Currently, I am an elementary and middle school ELL (English Language Learners) teacher in Grand Rapids, MI. I have also taught adult ELL classes, and Pre-GED reading classes.
I enjoy hands-on learning and using games to get my students interested and excited about learning.
