TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I'm a children's librarian, and I have been working in libraries for almost a decade. I have experience working with babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary students. In addition, I work as a blogger (www.learnplayread.com) and as a freelance writer. My passions are early literacy and books - librarian seems like a good fit, right?

My undergraduate degree is in English writing, and I have a Masters in Library Science, with a specialization in youth services. I also have completed many education courses with the intention of earning a professional educator's certificate with a K-12 Library Media endorsement. I'm a blogger and freelance writer, as well as a full-time children's librarian and mom.
