Autism self-contained (AUI): Grades K-3 Elementary education: Grades 1-4 (Student teaching/fieldwork)
Teaching is both an art and a science, and exceptional educators effectively employ appropriate behavior management techniques, while simultaneously engaging learners in multisensory lessons. In order to reach every individual learner and to ensure his or her academic, behavioral, and social success, educators must understand the specific strengths, weaknesses, learning styles, motivational needs, and behavioral patterns among students to create classroom environments that foster achievement.
