TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a seasoned middle school teacher of 22 years. Currently a 7th grade English Language Arts teacher with great energy and enthusiasm in the classroom.

MY TEACHING STYLE

"Don't let fear or insecurity stop you from trying new things. Believe in yourself. Do what you love. And most importantly, be kind to others, even if you don't like them." Stacy London. Keeping students invested and involved in their learning process is the key to my classroom. My goal is to motivate students and keep them engaged through lessons that address the different modalities of learning and reach ALL students. Every student needs to have a voice to be an active participant who feels safe to take risks in a judgement free classroom environment.
