Lacey Worsdell

Educator with over 22 years of teaching experience with a wide variety of educational experiences ranging from the regular education classroom, teaching ESL students to read and write, teaching reading and math in an ESE inclusion class to serving in my current position as a Reading & Intervention Coach (RtI). At present, I divide my work week between serving as a title 1 coach and lead and teaching 4th grade ELA. I currently hold a teaching certificate in multiple areas including: Elementary Education (Grades K-6), Exceptional Student Education (ESE K-12), Educational Leadership and have my reading endorsement. Clay County School District is a high performing district and in the top 10 school districts in Florida. I have in depth knowledge and experience in curriculum and curriculum resources, Response to Intervention, reading components and strategies, Common Core Standards, ESE law, data, as well as a variety of learning disabilities.

I believe on hands on integrated cross curricular learning. Learning should be meaningful, memorable and fun! If you can get children to enjoy coming to school-- 80% of the battle is won! Teaching is an art... and I try to explicitly format my lessons so anyone that purchases my lessons and or products can easily understand them and learn from them so they can apply the strategies they've learned from my lessons in to their own lessons. Making teachers better teachers and sharing this information is what drives me. The more teachers I can assist the more students I am able to reach.
