I have been teaching for 15 years and have taught students from Kindergarten to Grade 8. I have been in the primary grades for the majority of my teaching years and love everything about teaching younger students.
I am a big advocate on outdoor learning and incorporate this style into my daily lessons whenever possible. When students can experience their learning with the 5 senses and live it through the outdoors, it becomes a lot more interesting to them and it helps to make learning more enjoyable.
Baccalaureate in Science, Honours Bachelor of Education
I attended my early years in a French Immersion program. The school I went to was very small so most of my classes were spilt grades. My highschool years were spent learning at my own pace as this was the type of programming that was offered at the time.
