I have been teaching for eight years. I have taught first grade, second grade, and fourth grade.
I love incorporating art as much as possible into my teaching. I believe that we rely so much on testing and teaching to the test that the creative side of school is "going away", and it is our responsibility to make learning fun more so than just doing redundant busy work worksheets. If you think outside the box with items, kids will learn without realizing it as much and it will stay with them for longer.
Teacher of the Year 2008
I graduated from the University of West Florida with a degree in Elementary Education and ESOL endorsements. I am certified to teach Art from K-12 as well.
Thank you for visiting! Please follow me as I will be continually adding new items.
