I have been teaching, in some capacity or another, since 2008. My greatest passion is helping people, seeing others succeed, and being a part of the growth process for others; both students and colleagues! I am passionate about high quality math instruction for all students and hope to be able to help math teachers around the country with sharing curriculum and experiences as well as receiving feedback on their experiences with my work!
Above any pedagogical tag, my teaching style is to approach each day and each lesson from the heart to meet students where they are at. I have taught in a variety of ways and aim to keep things consistently varying in my delivery of lessons rather than rooted in one philosophical teaching approach. I do find that I tend toward inquiry based and complex instructional methods with a focus on student-centered classrooms and student-led instruction.
