7 years as a middle school science teacher for Baltimore City Public Schools in Maryland 1 year as a 3rd grade teacher at a charter school in Massachusetts 5 years as a 6th grade science teacher in Massachusetts where I currently teach!

MY TEACHING STYLE

Rigorously engaging classroom with a side of colorful organization. I consider my teaching style "warm demanding". I believe making a connections with students is crucial. When they feel that you care about them and know them, they are more likely to succeed. I set high standards for my students and provide any supports necessary to help them reach their goals. I also believe in providing enriching opportunities for students to truly engage in the learning, make connections to their daily lives and prior learning, and see themselves as lifelong learners.
