I have been teaching Kindergarten for four (4) years, but I have been dreaming and pretending to be a teacher since I was born.
I view my students as sponges. They soak up learning by discovering the world around them within and outside of our classrooms. I believe in a classroom discovery setting where we do not give the students the knowledge rather we give them the tools to obtain and discover learning through a multi-sensory approach.
Hugh O'Brian Leader of Tomorrow Award and Pi Lambda Theta member which is an honor society and professional association for educators.
In my Undergraduate Studies, I focused on Early Childhood Education (Pre-K to Grade One) and Elementary Education (Grade One to Grade Six). I concentrated in English. In my Graduate Studies, I focused on Literacy Studies.
