I am a dedicated and experienced educator with a proven track record of success in teaching Science at diverse educational levels. Over the past 15+ years, I have contributed significantly to the academic development of students at the high school and college levels, while also playing a crucial role in homeschooling as a dedicated mom and teacher. My experience spreads across private, public and homeschool settings. I also have valuable laboratory experience with DNA extraction & purification. I have experience developing my own curriculum and resources as well as following state standards in the classroom. My goal has always been to engage students, by sharing my passion of science with them while leading them to academic success. At the college level, I was able to work with young adults, giving me unique insight on how to mold students to become successful science students from high school to college. My role as a homeschooling mom allowed me to apply personalized teaching methods and explore diverse teaching styles in a unique bilingual (French & English) learning environment. My multifaceted and bilingual teaching experience has equipped me with a versatile skill set which enables me to adapt to different educational settings and effectively cater to the unique needs of students at various levels.

My teaching philosophy centers around having fun and engaging students with real-life application examples. Regular practice and learning from mistakes is an important component of building a confident student. Fear of failure can be overcome by regular practice and making corrections from mistakes.
