She is teacherpreneur, and the owner of an educational consultantancy serivces that focuses on STEM, Innovation and creativity for students and teachers. She is a (tenured) Full Professor in the Department of Education Leadership and Policy Analysis at East Tennessee State University. She is an international speaker, and the Managing Director of the Kids Innovation Kingdom. She is the author of seven children's fiction novels which are available in paperback, kindle and audio (audible) formats. Her children's' fiction books focus on African proverbs used as Leadership and character-building lessons and have been translated into eight different languages (French, Amharic, Spanish, Portuguese, Swahili, Arabic, Rwandan Kinyarwanda) and English.
