TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Over the years I have created a treasure trove of therapy materials and lesson plans. Since I am going into my 11th year as a Speech-Language Pathologist, and I teach at least 12 social skills groups per week, I have a humongous "bag of tricks"! I am using this blog as a place to share my unique bag of tricks with all of you.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I borrow ideas from the social thinking curriculum, video modeling, peer-peer mistreatment, cognitive behavioral approach, positive behavioral supports, growth mindset, positive school climate and much, much more to integrate into my sessions.
