I have been working in schools in South Florida for 7 years! I have found new ways to get kids to enjoy learning and want to come to school. I teach Tier 2 and 3 students as well as ESOL. The student population in my school is 93% Hispanic with almost all students qualifying for free and reduced lunch. These students struggle with basic phonics and comprehension as well as math, and I am determined to assist them in success for their current and future endeavors!
I teach through small group instruction and use learning games for practice and design my own games when I can.
I was able to complete an internship with my intern principal and learned the ropes of educational leadership while in my graduate program!
