Kelly Clark

I have taught elementary grade students for 20 years. I am in my second year of teaching 4th grade and love it. Previously I taught 2nd and 3rd grade for many years. I enjoy teaming with other people and sharing ideas.

I like using all different kinds of resources in my classroom. I enjoy having kids work collaboratively, discussing and talking about what they are thinking. I am consciously planning lessons around the gradual release model. I have found that to be working very effectively too. I have written the writing lessons on here for our 4th grade team at my school. I will continue to add more writing products as this is also a passion for me. I enjoy having student practice skills with fun review games or hand-on activities. All the items in my store are items I have personally used in my classroom. Many I have tweaked and made better and I thought I would share them with you. We are currently a one-income household so I am using TpT to earn some extra income as well. My students hug me daily, create pictures for me, write notes to me, and make me laugh. These are the greatest honors I can receive for doing the job I love. I love the notes the kids leave me in our read aloud. They are the reason I am there every day. I try hard to always remember that!
