I will be wrapping up my fourth year as an ELA teacher in the 2017-2018 school year. I also have experience coaching cheer.
My teaching style is heavily influenced by my environment. I strive to have a welcoming classroom that invites all students to explore, question, and discuss their own ideas. I believe in the power of independent reading and I also believe that there is no replacement for its benefits.Through essays, Socratic Seminars, and activities, I hope that my students simply develop a love of reading and a love of learning.

I love learning new strategies and exploring new ways to enhance my material. You will see a mixture of products as I expand my own learning. I love using Google for just about everything - their apps, products, etc. are my favorite.
