My Sports Med students are required to evaluate an ankle/lower leg injury. I make up a scenario, and students need to evaluate their partner's ankle/lower leg. Students are required to do this WITHOUT looking. This is their end of unit exam.
The HOPS/HIPS evaluation project is a project I do with students to end the Evaluation and Assessment unit before reviewing for their exam. I allow students to work with ONE partner. They're responsible for splitting up the evaluation evenly and
Students will research a health related career and present it to the class. I've included a checklist, outline, a career list, and a rubric for the students. I also included a teacher rubric to help make grading easier. I usually give students 6-7

I use this sheet for students to have their field experience hours signed off on. My students need 8 hours per semester with the Athletic Trainer or another health professional approved by me.
