I am currently teaching K-5 Music at Polk County Public Schools in Florida.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love to make sure children are engaged in the lesson and that we are all having fun doing the activities. I have created lessons and manipulatives to help my students stay engaged in what we are learning.

I attended Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio where I graduated with my Bachelor of Music in Music Education with a minor in Communication. I enjoy attending the local Orff Schulwerk workshops and a lot of my creations and lessons stem from the things I learn at those workshops.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I grew up in a small town in New York, where my family and I raised goats for the county fair. I am an avid bowler and you will likely see me in the bowling alley on Wednesday nights. I have 1 son and 2 bonus sons who are my world.
