TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a Kodaly inspired elementary music teacher. I have taught in a variety of students from many diverse backgrounds including suburban, rural, low income, and bilingual. I have taught Pre-K through 5th grades.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is Kodaly inspired, with my main objective being for my students to experience the joy of music.

Countless students have given me drawings and written letters expressing how much they love and enjoy music class.

I received my Bachelor's of Music Education from Illinois Wesleyan University and my Master's of Music Education from Illinois State University. I attended Capital University (Columbus, OH) and received my Kodaly Certification in 2012.
