TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've taught high school science (and gifted 8th grade students) for the past 10 years. I have a Bachelors of Science in Biology as well as a Masters in Secondary Science Education. Five years ago I created an elective course merging anatomy and health curriculums. I've enjoyed this a lot and have had the change to create a lot of fun, engaging activities for my kiddos!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to use real-life application and hands-on experiences to teach science. I've found that if students can relate the information to their own lives, they'll be more engaged and they'll have fun while learning!
