TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught at both the middle and high school levels. I make a lot of resources because I want them to be unique to my students. I also emphasize Mathematical discourse in my classroom which is reflected in my resources.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style was primarily teacher directed and centered, but I am finding that a student led classroom is much more effective. I like the use of graphic organizers, card sorts, integrated group projects, hands on activities, and any favorite activities of my students. I listen to them when they tell me past experiences and try my best to create learning opportunities that are fun and interesting to them.
