Judy Kvaale

I am a retired 3rd grade teacher with 30 years teaching experience. I have written two books based on language arts and math activities. My other experiences include teaching continuing education online courses for several universities and PBS TeacherLine. These courses are specifically designed for teachers. I have also taught summer school for elementary students and adults. I have given workshops on topics such as Teaching Tools on the Net, Lively Language, How to Write Book Reports and creative writing. I currently teach student teachers at our local university.

My teaching style is driven by the type of students in my classroom. I am very much a hands-on, cooperative learning type of teacher. I am always looking for ways to improve my instruction.

I graduated with a Bachelor's Art degree Minnesota State University. I received my Master's Degree from Minot State University. I have also received online facilitator training through PBS TeacherLine, eTeaching Institute and the University of Northern Iowa.

I am the proud mother of 2 daughters, ages 29 and 31. During my free time I like to go to the lakes, read and research on the Internet. I am always developing new games, activities, units, PowerPoints and worksheets.
