My experience is 22 years of teaching. I have taught at multiple schools in multiple districts, but have found my niche for 16 years now in the city schools near my home. I have taught K-6th grades in some capacity over the years, but I am primarily settled in 3rd-5th grades. My heart is in remedial teaching of reading. I currently serve as an Instructional Coach.
My teaching style is to use engagement techniques, thinking on my toes, and to use humor all as tools along with my knowledge of curriculum and state requirements to provide a cohesive education to my young people!

Happily married with 2 kiddos. I love love love to spend time with my family. My youngest is in 4th grade and my oldest in 6th! I relax from the school year crazy life by playing with my kiddos, walking, lifting weights, watching football and/or hockey, cooking up some great meals, or spending time on my boat in the middle of the empty lake.
