I love teaching kids mathematics and I have been doing so for 20 years. I started my career with 8th grade students - my favorites - and I am still invigorated by their energy. Surprisingly, working with mathematics teachers was both enjoyable and very stressful. I grow tremendously every time I prepare for professional development sessions or college classes.
I try to infuse the lessons I prepare for my students with humor, color, intrigue, and organization. I don't think that just one title would be able to describe my teaching style - as I change it all of the time to keep my students curious and myself challenged.
