TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching 4th grade for four years in Forsyth County, Georgia.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that students learn best in an interactive and engaging environment. I love incorporating the use of technology in the classroom as a new way of learning. I believe students learn best by being taught the foundational skills and being given an opportunity to learn and explore on their own through small group instruction and centers.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I graduated magma cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in May of 2012. I am currently on our school Technology Team.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and graduated in May of 2012. I received a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in mathematics and technology.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

My name is Erin Kathryn. I live in Hall County, Georgia with my husband, Corey, and our English Bulldog, Griffin.
