Jennifer Mokri

I started working with children when I was 11 years old as a summer camp counselor and never stopped. I have worked at summer camps, after school programs, nannies, and most recently as a special needs paraprofessional. I recently completed my MAT and now teach 5th grade. And I love every minute of it!

I believe in using cooperative learning and constructivist teaching methods with my students. I think students learn best with as many hands on activities as possible. I also believe in incoporating learning styles to help all students and the different ways they learn.

I graduated frome the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor's of Arts in Journalism. I will graduate from Oglethorpe University with a Master's of Arts in Teaching with a focus on Elementary Education.
