TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a kindergarten teacher in NC & I love it. I have been teaching for 14 years. Before I started teaching I was a teaching assistant and a preschool teacher. I couldn't imagine doing anything else!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to provide my students with a lot of repetition & variety. We all know that everyone learns according to their own learning style, and I love the challenge of meeting those needs.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Umm, I won the Crystal Apple Award at my school twice. :) It's a little award given out to one teacher once a month by a colleague that has noticed that teacher's hardwork, dedication, committment to children, etc. :)

I have a BS in Human Services from Wingate University and a BS in Elementary Education K-6 from UNCC.
