TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for 5 years. The past 4 years I taught Special Education for PreSchool through 4th grade. I loved every moment and enjoyed working with children who needed extra support. This year I was ready for a new challenge. How could I take what I have learned from Special Education and make an amazing 3rd grade classroom? I have been through my ups and downs over the past 5 years and am looking forward to 35 more years to come!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I teach using centers, Daily 5, and lots of hands on materials. I like my students to interact with what they are learning. I love when they get a chance to lead their own learning (as do my 3rd graders).
