Over 20 years high school teaching experience including International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement courses. Subjects taught: World History, AP Human Geography, History and Geography of Non-Western Cultures and U.S. History

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to use a wide variety of teaching methods that incorporate technology and include PowerPoint presentations with skeleton outlines, reading quizzes, group activities, classroom discussions, worksheets and summative unit projects. My goal is to teach the material in a way that will hit a variety of different learning styles. I also try to aid comprehension by using examples that are relative to today's high school students.
