TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have over twenty years of experience teaching in a comprehensive suburban high school. I hold BAs in English & History, an MA in Secondary Education, an Ed.S. in Secondary Administration, & am working on an MA in U.S. History. While I have taught MANY different classes, most of my time has been spent teaching three different levels of U.S. History (on-level, accelerated, & AP). I am also known for my organizational 'tips & tricks' that help keep things running smoothly & efficiently so I can dedicate more time to creating valuable learning experiences for my students.

MY TEACHING STYLE

VARIETY! My students and I get bored with too much repetition so there's no telling what you'll see going on in my class on any given day: stations, hyperdocs, independent work or collaboration, discussions or primary source analysis. Regardless of what we do, I try to make it interesting & relevant.
