I am currently a Special Education Teacher within the ASD program teaching non-verbal students grades 5-7. Prior to this year I was a 4th grade Inclusion teacher, I taught 6th grade for four years and worked in grades 2-4 as an Inclusion and Resource Room Teacher. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Fashion Merchandising along with my Master's Degree in Special Education from Albright College.
I love interacting as much as possible with my students and focus on hands on activities. Seeing each of my students is so unique I tend to tier their lessons and activities to fit their learning styles and behavioral needs. If its interactive and hands on, it's happening in my room.
2018 Governor's Teacher of the Year
I went to Albright college where I studied Elementary Education and Fashion Merchandising for my undergraduate degree where I was an NCAA All Conference Athlete and Academic Scholar. I then continued my education at Albright where I obtained my Masters in Special Education graduating with High Honors with a 3.89 GPA and becoming a member of the Kappa Delta Pi National Education Honors Society.
I am a Special Education Teacher in the ASD Program in Passaic where I work with some of the most amazing students, educators and administrators. When I am not teaching I compete as a professional, natural fitness competitor and also work as a personal trainer.
