TEACHING EXPERIENCE

After 8 years, I am certified to teach Kindergarten to 12th-grade General Education and Gifted and Talented students in Texas. I have been working as a Special Education teacher.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Special education teachers have a wide range of teaching styles at their disposal, which they can use depending on each student's unique needs and abilities. Some of my teaching styles include hands-on learning, visual aids, repetition, and task analysis. Additionally, I may also resort to peer tutoring, cooperative learning, and individualized instruction to ensure that their students get the most out of their education.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

"I have been awarded the 'Teacher of the Year' award for the academic year 2021-2022."

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have a Master's degree in Human Resources Development and a Master's degree in Management from Webster University. I have an undergraduate degree in Theater Arts from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, complemented by a minor in Mass Communication.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

My life is a masterpiece woven with threads of dedication, indomitable spirit, and tender care, as a special education teacher, Air Force veteran, and single parent to two incredible souls.
