TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching American History for 7 years in charter schools. My lessons follow Louisiana state standards as well as Common Core Standards for middle school American History.

MY TEACHING STYLE

A History Investigation takes place in my classroom daily. Students act as detectives, decode primary sources and solve cases related to history!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

My Social Studies Class ranked #1 in standardized test scores (out of all subjects) for Louisiana State Testing (grades 3-8) 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 school year.
