I have had experience teaching in a variety of settings, including traditional public school, online teaching and tutoring, in an alternative setting, and in a residential facility for teens. I have had students from all backgrounds and experiences including from wealthy to homeless. Across all these experiences, student engagement is always top priority.
I am not your average teacher. I work as a Homebound instructor and am frequently provided work for students to complete. I am not one built around curriculum, but instead hone in on specific lessons, units, and interests to engage student learners. You won't find entire units built around standards on my page, as my teaching experience does not lend to this style. Instead, you'll find distinct supplemental materials for your classroom to enhance the topics and lessons that will truly teach students in a memorable fashion.
