I have been in education for over 30+ years; teaching, administration, and leadership roles. Primary subjects taught - history, social studies, math, but also credentialed in science and language arts. My first love is American History. Currently working as a Teacher On Special Assignment - K-12 Curriculum Specialist for History / Social Studies and a Curriculum Writer.
I teach in a style that builds upon a student's natural curiosity and inquiry. Lessons and activities are geared to guide a student toward discovering the lesson objectives as opposed to direct instruction or lecture style. Students regularly feel the drive to go further and learn more.
