TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have worked in education all of my life. 7 years at a private school and just started my 8th year as a public school teacher. I currently teach several levels of middle school math and I love it! I have a very primary/creative side since my credential was in elementary education.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love organization and all things colorful! My students take daily notes but since Common Core has become the new standards at our school I have been taking time creating supplemental materials that satisfy Common Core and keep inline with my regular pacing.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Graduated with honors in both my BA and masters programs.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I attended CSULB and completed an accelerated program, ITEP, where I completed both my BA in Liberal Studies and my Multiple Subject Credential all in four years. I later attended Concordia University and earned my masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
