TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been in the classroom for 13 years. Within those 13 years I have been at high school for 6 years and then off to elementary as a gifted teacher for two. I have recently in the past year switch schools and I am teaching 6th graders. The school is an MYP International Baccalaureate school so anything new you will notice you may wish to edit out the grading supports noted for the MYP Rubrics. If you are an MYP school we grade ALL assignments in the IB scale not a hybrid model.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Project Based Learning Activity Based vs. Note Taking - My students outline chapters prior to the lesson to take the place of notes. My students use a note taking strategy called PEDLIGS.
