I am excited to be venturing out into this world. I am a stay at home Mom of two wonderful boys. We have been on a long journey in the Autism Spectrum world. We do a lot of home lesson planning, home schooling, and early intervention in our home. I am always looking for new and creative ways to help my son. I love this site and all the wonderful teachers here.
More of a facilitator .I focus more on activities. My son learns best with hands on learning. This teaching style emphasizes student-centered learning and there is much more responsibility placed on the students to take the initiative for meeting the demands of various learning tasks. This type of teaching style works best for students who are comfortable with independent learning and who can actively participate and collaborate with other students. Designing small group activities with active learning and problem solving. Small learning situations and activities that requires use of creative ideas.
