TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Hello, My name is Dr. Kehl, and I have 22 year's experience in K-12 education, and I've taught all subjects in 4th - 8th grades, High School English, English Language Development, Drama and Theatre, Life Skills, SEL curriculum, and more. I'm also branching out this year to teach mild/moderate special education classes this year.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My educational philosophy and teaching style is centered on this quote from my doctoral research, "Accommodating, diverse, and inclusive environments and the opportunity to grow in resiliency further promote the expansion of Lev Vygotsky's Zone of Proximal Development and the acquisition of conscious cognition," (Kehl, 2021).
