I have been teaching for 15 years! I have loved each and every grade level I have taught and I love to create fun new things to use in my classroom to supplement my curriculum! In the era of remote learning, I stepped up my game and created a bunch of useful resources that can be used during this model, but that will also translate back to the classroom well!
Because I teach the intermediate grades, I believe students can start to take ownership of their own learning! This is why so much of what I do relies on the student to self assess as we move throughout the year. I believe this leads to students being driven to succeed because it becomes a part of who they are to set goals and work to achieve them!
