I am a primary/elementary teacher with over ten years teaching experience. Throughout my teaching career I have worked as a tutor, teacher and curriculum leader. I have developed whole-school curriculum plans and materials, been a state marker and lead colleagues on countless professional development workshops. But what I most enjoy is working with students, watching them grow in confidence and skill. It is this passion for my profession that drives me to develop meaningful hands-on resources that not only saves my classroom and personal time but also engages learners and inspires excellence in my classroom!

I, like you I am sure, love the whole process of learning. Currently my highest educational qualification is a Masters Degree in Education, but I am on the lookout for my next challenge... thinking Mathematics in Early Education...

I love teaching, being a parent and ofcourse my chickens (Hippo and Gretel). I live in sunny Queensland Australia (that's my backyard in the photo above) and love it here. I have taught in both public and independent schools and have learnt a lot from the student's I have taught over the years. I am passionate about hand-on learning and have created this site to promote easy to use, inspirational, engaging and meaningful teaching resources that are student centred (hands-on and engaging), curriculum focused (fluff free) and teacher friendly (low or no cost and will free up time). Classrooms are increasinly cluttered (in so many ways) and the pressures on teachers are ever increasing. No wonder so many websites and publishers are full of 'busy work' printables, I hope you can discover here some inspiration, ideas or resources that get you some time back, children in your care engaged and hopefully bring a little bit of WOW into your classroom!
