I started teaching in 2015 and have a Bachelor's in Elementary Education from UOP. I am a General Education teacher with the SPED students and SEC push-in. I have taught all elementary subjects and been departmentalized teaching both ELA and Math. I was also an interventionist teaching kinder through 5th-grade interventions for two years. Currently, I am teaching 4th-grade in a departmentalized class focused on ELA.
My teaching style is ever evolving. I don't follow a textbook style. I believe that all students can learn it is just a matter of meeting children where they are and helping them grow to where they need to be. I also believe that children deserve a teacher that not only wants to be in the classroom but wants to be with them.

Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix and I am working toward my Masters in Administration.
I am a mother of 2 full time and a "Mom" to 30 kids each year. I am a wife to a wonderfully hardworking and understanding man. (I think all teachers have to be married to understanding men.) I love teaching and everything involved. It is a lot of work perhaps but when you're passionate about making a difference in these children's lives it is worth doing.
