TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Student taught in second grade. 1 year k-1 paraprofessional in special education. 3 years in 1st grade, 2 years in second grade, 1 year as a STEM k-4 Specials teacher.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I have a balanced literacy approach to reading and writing. I believe in hands-on learning where students are taking responsibility for their work in all aread of learning. I teach with a workshop model. Students have a mini lesson, then they discover, then they come back to review learning.
