Thank you for taking the time to read my bio. I am currently employed as an Academic Support Interventionalist, a role I transitioned into after starting my journey in education as a substitute teacher two years ago. During my time as a substitute, I had the opportunity to teach in every grade from K-5 across a variety of settings, including standard classrooms, intervention services for at-risk students, and even prep classes such as gym, art, and music, not to mention serving as a lunch aid.
My teaching style is focused on creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment where curiosity is nurtured, and exploration is encouraged. I use interactive activities, storytelling, and creative projects to make learning both educational and enjoyable. I believe in using stories and examples that convey deep moral and ethical lessons to instill values such as courage, kindness, and perseverance in my students. This method allows me to connect personally with students, helping them to look deeper into subjects and understand the broader impact of their actions and thoughts. I strive to ensure that learning extends beyond the classroom, equipping students with insights and virtues that will serve them throughout their lives. By integrating rigorous academic content with creative expression and moral lessons, my aim is to foster a classroom atmosphere where every student feels valued and inspired to achieve their full potential. This comprehensive approach to education is designed to prepare students for academic success and to be thoughtful, compassionate individuals who are ready to make a positive contribution to the world.
