TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I started off as a Preschool teacher for ages 2-4. Then as I continued through my own education I moved into a Paraprofessional role at a K-8th full inclusion school. I was honored that the school created a position called the Case Manager In Training where I mentored a case manager of 25+ plus years, well attending many SEIS training sessions for writing IEPS. Once graduating with my BA and MA I continued into a teaching role in the K-5th school system as an RSP teacher, SDC 3-5th Mild to Moderate and now I have had the opportunity to open a new program for Students with Autism.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I enjoy camping/ the lake, my animals (2 dogs & 1 cat), and spending with my family. In my free time (ha ha) I enjoy reading, wine tasting, or working out. My favorite holidays are 4th of July, Halloween, and New years. My favorite colors are teal, mint green, and black. I enjoy watching hockey but don't have a favorite team. Most of my free time is spent prepping for the upcoming weeks. Overall, I felt like there was a need for more SPED representation on TPT and thought I should share my activities! Please enjoy & use the resources I have found to be super helpful!
