This song, set to the tune of "Farmer in the Dell," is great for teaching properties of matter. I used it with my 2nd graders and they loved it, but it would also work for older grades. Enjoy!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught for 5 years in Utah. Four of those years have been in a dual-language immersion classroom, and I love it!

MY TEACHING STYLE

Yet to be added

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Irrelevant, but one time I won 1st place at a national country dance competition, and that was very exciting for me.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I grew up in Maryland, but moved to Utah when I started college at BYU. I graduated in Elementary Education like pretty much everyone else on this website :)

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

My husband Stephen and I love rock-climbing, traveling, remodeling our house, and each other. He is applying to dental school soon so we probably won't be here for much longer! Besides being a teacher, I have always dreamed of being an author. My plan is to teach for a few more years, have some babies, and then work on writing while I stay at home with them :)
