TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 9th year as an elementary school teacher. I have taught 3rd and 4th grade. I love elementary education and all of the variety. I really believe in using technology to bring some excitement into my lessons, and I enjoy making power points, mimio slide shows, interactive games, colorful posters, worksheets, and educational decorations for my class. It is hard to to get the kids of today's world to pay attention right?? That's why I do all of these things, to grab their attention in a fun way.

35 years old. Mother of two amazing little boys, who I live for! I truly love teaching, just wish I had more hours in the day to get everything done!! I walk in from summer vacation with the biggest smile on my face. I love the smell of the glue, and paper, and boxes, (ya know? that school smell.) I get totally excited to set up my classroom and gather all of my ideas, and I feel so lucky and proud to be a teacher and have such a great job!....Then.....of course, by the end of the year, I am running out of the school screaming, thinking about how I can't take another minute :) lololol, but that's pretty normal I think :)
