I started working as an English teacher on September 2009 doing some substitutions. In 2011 I started working as a Bilingual teacher in Early Childhood schools (early pre-k, pre-k and kinder). From 2015 to 2018 I have worked as a bilingual teacher in the USA, teaching in Kindergarten. Currently I am a bilingual assistant teaching English in three classes of 3 years-old kids.
Throughout my years of experience as a teacher, I have learned that our students have to be an active part in their learning process and for that we must involve them in all kinds of activities. My methodology is based on project based learning, teaching in a globalized way the curricular contents of all the areas/subjects through the same topic, the one that arises from the curiosity of the students. All this is supported by learning centers, which allow our students to research about the topic they are learning and learn through playful games.

I believe in the potential that every person has and we, as teachers, have to be able to identify those skills in our students and help them to develop. But more than that, we have to help them to find their true essence and guide them to grow as beings with compassion and wisdom. I think that nowadays, our societies are asking for a change and if we want it to happen, we need to start with ourselves. So, be the change you want to see in the world.
