I've been teaching Italian as a Second and Foreign Language for more than 20 years, in various classroom settings and distance learning. My students are from all over the world, of all ages and levels. I have a lot of fun creating new materials and working with teachers from different countries to explore new teaching methods and activities. I'm one of the co-authors of Letture in gioco, Alma Edizioni, a book which includes activities and games to read in Italian.
In my classes I try to adapt my teaching to different learning styles & needs. I believe in 4Cs: Communication, Culture, Contents and Creativity. My goal is to enhance motivation in learning Italian language and exploring Italian cullture through plenty of updated, engaging and authentic resources. Teaching grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and the four skills actively and creatively can ensure a lot of fun and progress!!! I would be happy to share my passion for Italy, where I live, with you!!

I completed my Bachelor's degree in Literary Studies in Milan, Italy, at Università degli Studi in 1992. In 2011 I took my DITALS Certification Levels 2 granted by the University for Foreigners of Siena that certifies advanced competence in teaching Italian to many different profiles of learners and in 2015 I earned my CLIL, Content and Language Integrated Learning.
If I could, I would spend my life in learning languages and travelling. But I also like going for a stroll in my town watching the historical architecture and modern high-rise skyscrapers, all mingled together. And, of course, sitting in a bar in front of a creamy cappuccino!
