TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Taught 4 years at Gilbert Elementary School in Gilbert, Iowa as a 3rd grade school and then a 5th grade school teacher. Taught physical education as well as Bible instruction at The Daniel Academy is Kansas City, Missouri. Over 25 years of song writing experience. Over 20 years experience working with kids. Parenting 2 elementary-aged kids of my own with my wife, Leslie!

If I'm in a classroom setting, I often allow students to take ownership of their learning by helping me create songs and skits that will help them learn what they need to learn.

I love just hanging out with my wife, Leslie, and my two kiddos, Grace and Isaac. I love to play (and watch) basketball as well as playing/writing music on the guitar and keys. I also love to see kids' hearts light up when they enjoy learning through the music I make!
